Anatoly's eyes were drawn to the white queen and he couldn't help but think of Florence for a moment. He had loved her with all of his passion and though he had not meant to hurt her, he had with his grand gesture to return to the Soviet Union and leave her safely behind. He had sworn off any more relationships after that but then he had met Lex... but that was a path he did not want to go down. Let it be enough that he was determined not to be so weak again.
