Anatoly ate his dinner in silence, not wanting to disturb their quiet domesticity. When they talked, it was almost certain their relationship would change. For the better, he hoped, but even so. He had never liked dealing with change in the first place.

But like it or not, the subject had to be broached. When they were finished and the plates had been cleared, he took a deep breath and looked at Lex. "I think perhaps it's time we talked."
