Anatoly clung to Lex's hand as if it were a lifeline. Suddenly he was afraid of what he might learn, afraid that this might be the beginning of the end. In another time, he would have, not to put a too fine point on it, cut and run. But that was another world and lifetime ago. Here, he meant to fight this out.

He brought Lex's hand to his lips for a quick, soft kiss. "Wherever you think is best to start. The beginning, from when Clark took you - I just want to know what happenened."
