It took all Anatoly had not to shy away from her touch. He couldn't even begin to imagine how could he explain the island to her. He wasn't even sure that he hadn't dreamed the whole thing. All he knew was that he couldn't bear to hurt her again.
"It's nothing," he said quickly, gently untangling her arms and moving off the bed. "I didn't sleep very well. I just need a shower. I'll be alright."
