After he parted from Walter, his first order of business was to pay a visit to Sergievsky's estranged wife. There was no doubt in his mind that she would help them. She had no other choice if she wished to keep her home and children.

No, this would be an easy sell. She had the difficult part, convincing Anatoly, but he knew the man well. His guilt was already eating at him. An hour with her and he would fall, as he always had before. There could be no other outcome.

He straightened his jacket before knocking on the door. "Comrade Sergievsky. Let me in." He paused then added as a courtesy. "Please."
