Such aggressive tactics was a sign of genius or overconfidence. Anatoly knew which he thought it was but made no comment, conceding to Lionel's burst of fury. Let the man overextend himself and spread out his attackers; by the time he penetrated Anatoly's own strategy, it would be far too late to do anything but watch his scheme go up in flames.

"I play chess," he answered smoothly, a hint of a smile visible as he avoided the obviously placed pawn for the sake of shoring up his defenses.
