Guy had been to Russia once. All he had learned of the language was 'vodka', which could hardly be seen as an achievement, and what he presumed to be the Russian words for 'wake up' or 'stand up', which he had heard repeated as he was rudely woken from stupor by two Russian police officers in a park.

He smiled and looked up. "What?" he whispered back into the ear whose lobe he had found to tease.
