chesspolitik: (Slightly Debauched)

Are the Communists sporting?

After drinking half of the last remaining bottle of vodka, Anatoly couldn't quite remember how he and Guy had come to drinking outside of his hut, but he was rather glad they had done so. For once, he wasn't thinking of Lex or how unhappy he really was. He was living in the moment, carefree and joyous and also very smashed.

"So what was it you were saying," Anatoly asked, trying to keep himself from leaning into Guy and failing. "I'm afraid I didn't quite catch it."

Guy had been to Russia once. All he had learned of the language was 'vodka', which could hardly be seen as an achievement, and what he presumed to be the Russian words for 'wake up' or 'stand up', which he had heard repeated as he was rudely woken from stupor by two Russian police officers in a park.

He smiled and looked up. "What?" he whispered back into the ear whose lobe he had found to tease.

Guy helped him take off his shirt and carelessly discarded it. "Before I make you forget the use of language all-together," Guy grinned and stood up. "Let's go inside."

Guy laughed as he walked inside. "You sound like our first contact," and quickly added, "with an infinitely more diverse vocabulary and more handsome, of course."
