Anatoly nodded in complete understanding. He understood very well where Sookie was coming from and certainly he'd suffered more than his fair share of trials and disappointments. "It's the one constant, isn't it? Or at least, that is what it feels like sometimes. I learned just to take things as they come - enjoy the good times, knowing they won't last and weathering the bad as best I can."
