Anatoly considered briefly and made his response. These first few moves were nothing in the grand scheme of things. It was what happened during the middle and end game that truly mattered. For them, it usually meant name-calling and throwing of things but perhaps this would be the time that was different.

He looked up to see Freddie staring at him and tilted his head. "Yes?"
